About Ally
I'm a twenty-five year old woman living in beautiful British Columbia, in the township of Langley. Currently, I am working at a book store and doing commissions on the side. I've been drawing from the time I was little, largely encouraged and inspired by my Nana, who does animal paintings. I started to get more serious about drawing in my high school days, and would some day love to get a comic book or art book published. I also intend to attend some conventions in the future, should things work out in my favor.
As you can see, my main style is cartoon/comic/anime related, although I have dabbled in some realism in the past. My favorite artists at this time are: Shane Glines, Lynn Naylor, Lauren Faust, Robert Bateman and Carl Brender. My favorite style of art is retro/pin-up style.
Other info about me? I'm currently in a relationship with the love of my life, Derek, whom I've known since high school. I'm very close with my Nana, along with my mum, and my younger brother, Dakota. I have two dogs, four cats, and a horse. I absolutely adore the people and animals in my life, although I feel that I'm a rather shy person. I am also an agoraphobic, who suffers from anxiety - and I'm very proud of my progress in overcoming both of these shortcomings.
